meda fury presents *remember every moment ep* by pearl river sound. fury continue to bring the heat with their first release of what could quite possibly be a banner year for the label. pearl river sound is the moniker of italian musician roberto semeraro. based in rome he emerged on the scene with a cassette release on the seattle label further records. after a further cassette release on indole records which again explored his classic 90s electronic and idm influences, his media fury debut sees him bring in some 4/4 beats to channel classic deep house sounds without losing his signature pure and melancholy sound.

neon is not a common name for italian post punk lovers. born in florence, the cradle of peninsulas wave, they were probably the first important post punk gothic band in our country and they are still nowadays one of the most active band in 80s italian new wave time, still marking italian rock history.

kirlian camera are one of the pioneers of the italian electronic scene. active since 1979 under the name suicide commando, the band changed name in 1980 releasing the first demo-tape dawn and the self-titled mini-album in late 1981. the early records contain a mix of synth pop and new wave/dance songs, while towards the end of the 1980s kirlian cameras music became darker, turning into electro-gothic sound. nearly every release since then has explored different fields, from industrial to ambient and trip-hop.

radio bands radio rap the one and only single by a group of djs from the radio fantasy pirate station has long been an in-demand gem with italo-disco diggers and balearic heads alike. with original copies both hard to find and expensive (currently hovering around the l60 mark online), it s great to see archeo recordings giving the 1984 cut a much-needed reissue on heavyweight vinyl. the quirky vocal version a loose and funky disco-rap record with additional boogie synths and all italian vocals is accompanied by the superb instrumental version, which perfectly showcases danilo ciarchi s superb production.

we are honoured to present the milan-based duo carol consisting of damian and fedex. fedex has been collecting records and dj-ing since the age of 15 when the italian club and rave scene was about to explode. after many years of dj-ing and producing music in italy and germany he found his home in milan by joining the cockette party crew where he expressed his musical versatility and love for dancefloor shaking. damian started out in londons late 90s electroclash scene with the cult electro band damian and the puzzy france and later on approached techno and house as a promoter and dj.
